BASIS AND PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
Please be advised that as part of its activities, EK Academi AB may collect and process personal data:
1) in order to conclude and perform the contract with the client and to cooperate with suppliers and other entities – pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 lit. b GDPR;
2) in order to provide an electronic answer, via an e-mail address, to answer the question asked by the contact form available on the ekacademi.com website (hereinafter also referred to as the “Website”) – pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 point a GDPR;
3) in order to fulfill the legal obligations incumbent on the personal data administrator – pursuant to art. 6 sec. 1 lit. c GDPR;
4) for purposes resulting from legitimate interests pursued by the administrator or a third party, in particular for the purpose of investigating, establishing and defending against claims, ensuring IT security, using internal control systems, as well as for analytical, archival and statistical purposes (based on Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR).

Providing your personal data is voluntary, however, it is required for the purposes of processing described above. Failure to provide your personal data may result in the inability to conclude and perform the contract.

PERIOD OF DATA PROCESSING

a) in relation to the purpose of processing defined in point 1 – until the full performance of the contract, and then for the period resulting from the provisions on archiving and limitation of claims and tax law. In the event that the performance of the contract is not successful, personal data will be stored for 1 year from the date of collection;
b) in relation to the purpose of processing defined in point 2 – for the period necessary to clarify the matter in connection with the receipt of the inquiry via the contact form available on the website or until the consent is withdrawn;
c) in relation to the purpose of processing defined in points 3 and 4 – for the period necessary to achieve the indicated purpose of processing, for the period resulting from the provisions on archiving and limitation of claims and the provisions of tax law.
After the indicated periods have elapsed, the data will be deleted.
